Not intended as advertising, but I guess it is if you see it that way. 🙂 Just information telling what keyboard and language you’ve got selected. The system keyboard does the same (don’t remember who copied who). SwiftKey is more an example of what could be called advertising; they include their logo and don’t just flash it but leave it up permanently.
